ガリガリ君
Simply put, it's garigari --- the onomatopoeic word for a satisfying munchy, crunchy texture.

Garigari-kun means, literally, "Mr. Crunch." The creation, which is basically solid shaved ice, has two parts.
An outer layer is the texture of finely shaved ice, and covers a harder block of ice that gives Garigari-kun its signature crunch.
