Gogatsubyo is the term for the emotional and physical distress of diving back into everyday life.
The literal translation for Gogatsubyo is "May sickness."
The swings of starting a new work routine in April, then taking a break, then starting it again in May is said to cause illness in May --- hence, Gogatsubyo.
